Cameras Digital vs Film

I am only asking cause I have 2 Sony Cybershots one from 1999 another from 2005 both are ok, basic cameras.

I am in the process of getting a Pentax k1000 since I have a few K-mount lens (135mm, 35mm and 2x Teleconverter).

Was planning to also around tax return time invets in a darkroom color print set up.

I was just curious was biases people may feel towards either Film or digital.

I kinda feel for now film is actually better for general proof base.

Dont get me wrong I am not toally ditching digitals, I am looking at a few K-mount digital bodies too.

Also would appriciate Photograghing tips from those who have done feild work
Please be kind, I hardly know anything about cameras other than they take pictures and how they do it.

I think that digital camera can't convey the atmosphere like film camera. Because digital technologies only makes the appearance better, but they can't show you the real life. Hitchcock worked without digital cameras and he become one of the greatest people in cinema art
